Kelli, please take note of this important point i do have a burning question about fluoride right now, and i’ll ask at the fluoride video that Kelli has mentioned, but i’ll also ask it here in another comment just now… flychee March 8, 2012 @ 11:49 am @o5245607 i moved 3 years ago to a town with fluoridated water, and have drunk good local bottled spring water without fail. but in my reading over the past few days, everyone has been warning against brushing with fluoride-toothpaste and even showering in fluoride-water!! this has troubled me because my earlier information was only about ingesting fluoride. i’ll certainly switch to Tom’s because i’ve been looking for a good recommendation, but please shed light on this issue someone Heather h July 9, 2012 @ 8:44 pm Let’s look at some other common ingredients in your tube of toothpaste: Fluoride: A neurotoxin that was often used as a poison and insecticide in the past. (See my post on water fluoridation here, and a link about dental fluorosis here). Heather h July 9, 2012 @ 8:47 pm Although Burt’s Bees, another popular “all natural” brand, does not use SLS in their fluoride-free toothpaste, it does use glycerin (described above). And as we know, glycerin is an all-natural ingredient, however, in this specific application (toothpaste), it is bad for us (since it prevents our teeth to naturally re-mineralize themselves, the way nature intended). Crunchy Emily March 7, 2013 @ 10:55 am BTW I recommend Berkey filter w/flouride filtering elements over RO. Cheaper, no wasting water, gets rid of everything RO does but maintains minerals and therefore not slightly acidic like RO water. Suzy Larios November 9, 2013 @ 11:38 pm hi kelli! have you heard of melaleuca products? What to substitute it with now? lol Jason LegendMancerMusicVids June 27, 2014 @ 2:28 am we have the same toothepaste :) Lisa N July 2, 2014 @ 7:24 am Hello! I just discovered your lovely videos in looking for natural ways to get rid of tarter. I’ve changed my brushing routines and my breath and mouth is already better but I want to get rid of the tarter. I’m concerned about what 22utoo said below about P&G buying Tom’s and the toothpaste now has different ingredients? Wondering if you can comment or post another vid about that. Also I have sensitive teeth too, and all the Tom’s I’ve tried bothers my teeth for some reason. I guess you’ve not had that issue since you’ve used it for a long time… I just started on Dr. Christopher’s tooth powder. It’s herbal and lovely and natural. I think you would like looking into it. I also brush my tongue with the powder using Dr. Tung’s tongue brush. Although my teeth and mouth feel fresh-out-of-the-dentist smooth and silky clean now all the time, Dr. Christopher’s doesn’t remove tartar already on there. So I’m gonna try your Plax recommendation today. OH and the reason I searched out then found Dr. Christopher’s — I was in the healthfood store wanting to buy some xylitol gum. I looked at the ingredients and was like “titanium dioxide…what’s that?” The clerk looked it up and found it a cancer causing agent used to whiten tooth products. WHAT!? I bought a different gum instead (Spry) and went home and checked my “health food store” toothpastes. They all went into the trash because each of them had titanium dioxide. (no idea about Tom’s because like I said above, I can’t use it). I brushed with water for a week until I got the toothpowder. :) charleysturbos July 3, 2014 @ 11:58 pm Wow nice videos with the Tom’s of maine toothpaste without flouride. And the Plax tarter romover stuff. Also great shot at the end of the video of your nice boobies, haha. Sorry but they looked great too… gypsyvanneraddict July 8, 2014 @ 11:30 am Is it okay for sensitive teeth- gypsyvanneraddict July 15, 2014 @ 5:22 pm Wow Kelli thanks this combo is magical!! mslexy1905 September 5, 2014 @ 9:15 pm Since Tom’s has different ingredients now, what toothpaste should we get? Valerie Peters September 7, 2014 @ 11:20 am I use pure extra virgin cocoanut oil , Oil pulling and it really does work! Plus you stop using toothpaste so you can decalcify your pineal gland! I know…Spelling errors … :/ Tully Soulliere October 17, 2014 @ 10:26 am Kelly you have beautiful teeth thank you for the tips . Jim Beattie November 7, 2014 @ 10:00 pm Good information. I hate going to dentists also. Of course if my dentist looked like Kelli I’d be going twice a week. I’ve used Tom’s products before and they’re very good. I’ll start buying them again. It looks like Walgreens in my area sells Plax and Toms Nicole Scott December 7, 2014 @ 10:09 pm Hi Kelly! You should try oil pulling with coconut oil. It will brighten your teeth and remove toxins out of your mouth. Look it up here on YouTube! LotusFlower Yoga December 17, 2014 @ 6:00 pm Toothpaste!
